Birth With Ease
Hypnosis is a natural process and is part of our daily lives though we may be unaware of it. For example “highway hypnosis” - driving to and from work with your brain on auto-pilot. This is a form of self-hypnosis and generally occurs when you are driving a habitual route. Athletes do it all the time, too - injuring themselves during a game or race and not even being aware of it until the sporting event is over. Their focused awareness is on the game or race, not the injury. This type of reaction can only be achieved through self-hypnosis.
All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. It is a naturally induced state of relaxed concentration - a state of mind and body in which we communicate suggestions to our subconscious mind. This part of our mind influences what we think, how we feel, and the choices we make. It can actually control pain! Anyone who chooses to, can reach this level of deep relaxation and redirected focus.
